To keep up with rapid growth, were hiring a Backend Engineer who can build scalable APIs, integrate AI and chat-based workflows, and manage real-time pharmacy inventory and logistics.<br/><br/>This role is mission-critical : as we expand rapidly, the backend must be robust, reliable, and lightning-fast to ensure smooth order routing, accurate medicine availability, and seamless customer experiences at scale.
Youll be working at the heart of the companys chat-first platform, powering the technology that enables users to get their medicines and wellness products in minutes.<br/><br/><b>Key Responsibilities :</b><br/><br/>- Design and build scalable APIs with FastAPI / Django.
<br/><br/>- Integrate third-party APIs such as OpenAI, WhatsApp Business, and Gemini.
<br/><br/>- Manage real-time data flows across MySQL and MongoDB.
<br/><br/>- Ensure backend systems are secure, testable, and production-ready.
<br/><br/>- Deploy applications via Docker/NGINX with CI/CD pipelines.
<br/><br/>- Deliver a stable, high-performance backend that powers Rios chat-first customer <br/>experience.<br/><br/>- Ensure reliable medicine availability and support fast order routing at scale.
<br/><br/><b>Qualifications & Skills Required :</b><br/><br/>- 1 to 3 years of experience in backend development.
<br/><br/>- Proficiency in Python, FASTAPI, MySQL, and MongoDB.
<br/><br/>- Experience with AWS and CI/CD Pipelines.
<br/><br/>- Strong understanding of building and managing scalable APIs.
